From the Field to the Mic.

At the end of August, Kidspired helped manage the West Ottawa Soccer Club (WOSC) Teen Tournament, a weekend event that had families, players and sponsors connect with the community. We had our booth set up in partnership with Bartmart Audio, producers of ‘From The Park Bench’ podcast, who provided a mic set up for onsite episode interviews, along with karaoke and podcast questions for the players.

There were many other vendors there: Aquahaulics, Domino’s Pizza, Quadra Solar Corp., and Symphony Senior Living, who are also proud sponsors of several teams at WOSC. Read more about their wonderful story HERE about attending several games with their residents.

Quadra Solar also provided power for the Aqua Haulics Water Refill station during the tournament. Aqua Haulics is an Ottawa-based eco-friendly water company that provides sustainable access to drinking water. They rent out mobile touchless water refill stations that purify and filter the water.

Domino’s Pizza handed out pizza to players, coaches, and volunteers throughout the day. Dominos is a proud supporter, contributing to events and sponsoring the Player of the Game card. The vendors connected as a community, using a bike to help Domino's deliver pizzas from field to field.

It was a great day, not only weather-wise but also to be a part of the wonderful growing community and make new connections. Kidspired got to talk to coaches, parents, and players about their experiences with soccer and connect on a whole new level.
