More Clubs, More Communities: Kal Tire Gets Involved Where It Matters
Kal Tire is one of Canada’s largest independent tire service dealers and one of North America’s largest commercial tire dealers, with over 280 Kal Tire stores across Canada, an extensive supply chain network made up of distribution centres and its own transport division.
Kal Tire is finding new ways to connect with the communities where we live and work, supporting the people, families, and local organizations that bring those communities to life.
This past summer season, that meant getting out from behind the counter and onto the sidelines, supporting local sports clubs, bringing people together and creating memorable experiences for families.
Bringing the BBQ to the Soccer Field
As part of its community involvement, Kal Tire provided a BBQ event for East Hamilton Soccer’s year-end tournament.
The idea was simple: provide families with a free meal and a few extras to make game day even more enjoyable.
At the BBQ, players, families and spectators could enjoy a complimentary meal of a hot dog, chips, and a pop. Kal Tire also handed out free sunglasses and provided $100-off vouchers toward a set of tires, giving families another reason to stop by and connect with their local Kal Tire team.
A Warm Welcome from East Hamilton Soccer
The response from the soccer community was a great reminder of why these local partnerships matter.
One club representative shared their appreciation for Kal Tire’s involvement:
“If you can pass on our appreciation to Kal Tire - the kids certainly appreciated Kal Tire’s presence at the event. I saw a lot of kids (and adults) sporting some new Kal Tire sunglasses throughout the day.”
From the BBQ to the sunglasses, it was clear that the small touches made a big impact.
